Yaya Toure Denies Fight

It has been reported that the Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has made a statement to say that he is upset about the untrue claims that are going around the internet and the UK press that he was involved in a fight in the dressing room with his team-mate Mario Balotelli.

According to some internet reports the two players had a row during the half time break in the game against Sunderland which saw the team draw 3-3.

Toure told the UK press that the claims are not true and that he was not involved in any such fight and that he considers himself to be a footballer and not a boxer. He went on to say that he considers his relationship with Mario to be like that of brothers and would never dream of fighting with him.

He went on to say that he first he knew about it was when his lawyers called him. He said that he then text his friend to tell him that they had apparently had a fight the day before and that he was upset about this as they had not even spoken to each other at half time.
