Jaguar Announces F-Type
It has been reported that the car maker Jaguar Land Rover has decided to manufacture a successor to its previous sports cars called the F-type. The car will be built at its factory in Birmingham.
The company will launch a two seater convertible car that will have a petrol engine.
The car will follow the similar lines of the Jaguar E-Type that was last made back in 1975. Jaguar have made a statement to say that it feels that it has not made a sports car for far too long and that it needs one of these cars back in its collection once more.
It is thought that the F type will go on sale around the middle of 2013.
The reaction to this type of car being manufactured was so positive that it made Jaguar actually bring forward the production date so that it could meet the demand of its customers.
It is certainly good news for the UK car industry as it will mean that the new car will not only create more jobs but it will be a shot in the arm for the local economy and also the consumer confidence around the area.
